मठाधीश के आते ही सत्संग में जुटे जोगी

क्या मुंबई के तीन दिग्गजों की रणनीति पर अकेले सर विवियन रिचर्ड्स का मोटिवेशन भारी पड़ गया! क्या मुंबई के दिग्गजों ने जय-वीरू की जोड़ी को बुझा हुआ तीर समझने की गलती कर दी! क्या एकाएक तीनों फ्रंटलाइन गेंदबाजों को रिप्लेस करने की रणनीति मुंबई के लिए भूल साबित हुई! दिल्ली डेयर डेविल्स की पहली जीत और मुंबई की तीन ओवर शेष रहते 9 विकेट से बड़ी पराजय के बाद ऐसे तमाम सवाल उठ रहे हैं।
 मुंबई इंडियंस के रणनीतिकारों में तीन प्रमुख नाम हैं अनिल कुंबले, सचिन तेंदुलकर और रिकी पोंटिंग जैसे दिग्गज क्रिकेटरों के, जबकि दिल्ली के लिए रणनीति बनाने वालों में दो दिन पहले तक प्रमुख खिलाड़ियों सहवाग और जयवर्धने के अलावा और कोई बड़ा नाम शामिल नहीं था। शायद इसी बात को महसूस करते हुए जीएमआर ने अपने समय में गेंदबाजों के लिए खौफ का दूसरा नाम रहे ‘सर’ विवियन रिचर्ड्स को शनिवार को ही टीम के साथ बतौर सलाहकार जोड़ा है। रविवार को अपने होम ग्राउंड कोटला में मुंबई जैसी मजबूत टीम के खिलाफ खेलने से पहले दिल्ली की टीम के खिलाड़ियों के चेहरे सर रिचर्ड्स का साथ पाकर जिस तरह चमक रहे थे, वह पूरी कहानी साफ कहने को पर्याप्त था। टीम में कहीं कोई कमी नहीं थी, खिलाड़ियों की प्रतिभा पर कोई प्रश्नचिन्ह नहीं था, बस जरूरत थी एक ऐसे व्यक्ति की जो उन्हें एकसूत्र में पिरो सके। इसे मैं आसान शब्दों में समझाने की कोशिश करूं तो छत्तीसगढ़ी में एक कहावत है-जादा जोगी मठ उजार, इसका अर्थ होता है कि अगर किसी मठ में ज्यादा जोगी हो जाते हैं और कोई मठाधीश न हो तो जोगी आपस में खींचातानी करने लगते हैं, ठीक कुछ इसी तरह की हालत दिल्ली की टीम में बनी रही होगी, ऐसा मुझे लगता है। अब रिचर्ड्स के आते ही सभी जोगी मठाधीश को शिरोधार्य मानकर उत्साह के साथ सत्संग में जुट गए। पहले क्षेत्ररक्षण करते हुए मुंबई जैसी मजबूत बल्लेबाजी वाली टीम को 162 रन पर रोककर गेंदबाजों ने अच्छा काम किया और उसके बाद जय और वीरू के नाम से मशहूर जयवर्धने और सहवाग की जोड़ी ने कमाल की बल्लेबाजी की। पहली बार दोनो अपनी क्षमता और प्रतिष्ठा के अनुरूप प्रदर्शन कर पाए। हालांकि दिल्ली की इस जीत में मैं मुंबई की रणनीतिक विफलता को भी बड़ा कारण मानता हूं।

FICCI sponsored Parliamentary Delegation to Srilanka satisfied

The three-day visit of five-member FICCI-sponsored Indian Parliamentary delegation concluded on 12 April 2013. The delegation met a cross section of political opinion in a bid to understand the political situation in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, during its three day meet.
The multi-party delegation spent two days in Jaffna, where they met opposition and ruling Party Tamil Leaders and members of Civil Society. They also met beneficiaries of Indian Housing Projects at two different sites as well as Fishnet Factory in Jaffna.
The delegation identified the condition of Northern Sri Lanka four years after the Civil War ended. The delegation comprised of two BJP leaders namely Praksah Javadekar and Anurag Thakur and one leader from each Congress, Trinamool Congress and BSP namely Sandeep Dikshit, Saugata Roy and Dhananjay Singh respectively.

India and Germany sign six new pacts in Berlin

Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh visited Germany from 10 April 2013 to 12 April 2013 for participating in second round of Inter Governmental Consultations with Germany. 

Joint Declaration of Intent for promotion of German as a foreign language in India

• Under the Joint Declaration, India would cooperate in introducing B.Ed programmes for German language.

• Scholarships would be awarded for Masters degree programs and for short stays in Germany.

MoU on Cooperation in the field of Higher Education

•This MoU intends to facilitate people-to-people exchanges. This includes students, academics, and project collaborators.

Indo-German cooperation in the area of Civil Security Research

• Research cooperation in this area intends to fund 5 pilot projects in 2013 on natural disaster management, biological risk situations, urban security, protection & rescue of people and social aspects of civil security research.

Bilateral "Cooperations Program” of the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection and the National Seeds Association of India and the German Association of Plant Breeders

This joint declaration aims at strengthening cooperation in:

• plant variety protection 

• conservation of plant genetic resources

• cooperation between Indian and German agricultural research institutions and seed companies

Establishment of an Indo-German Working Group on Quality Infrastructure for Cooperation in Standardisation, Conformity Assessment and Product Safety

• Strengthening bilateral cooperation in standardization, conformity assessment and product safety through advancing bilateral economic and technical cooperation, intensifying dialogue and promoting coordinated activities in international organizations.

• It also provides for establishing and Indo-German Working Group Quality Infrastructure.

Indo-German Development Cooperation on Establishment of Green Energy Corridors

• This joint declaration aims at fostering increased use of renewable energy in India through technical and fanatical cooperation by way of integrating additional renewable energy generation capacity with the national grid.

• The Technical cooperation would be implemented through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and KfW intends to provide concessional loans of up to Euro one billion over the next six years.
